Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)

Continue to enjoy your food and the indulgences of life.

Endodontics, or root canal treatment is an area of dentistry that involved the treatment of dental pulps. Years ago, teeth with diseased or injured pulps were extracted. Today, endodontics treatment gives us a chance to save the tooth in an effective way.

A root canal or endodontics treatment deals with diseases of the tooth's pulp. It helps to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected.

Root canal procedures are performed when the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or the pulp becomes damaged. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp is removed and the root canal is cleaned, shaped, filled and sealed.
